Week 1 - First day Of our quest - Registering on adbrite

Starting our advertising campaign with adbrite. Doing our research, we have been reading almost on every blog that adbrite has a very bad customer service and their ads sucks. Almost on evry blog you will read that Adsense is better than Adbrite. And yeah dats true, adsense is better than any other advertising network. Well it was quite simple to signup with Adbrite, you just have to enter your details, and for the payments they do it via checks just like adsense. we have set the minimum payout to 100$. And one good thing with Adbrite is that you dont have to wait for approval, you can start using adbrite as soon as you signup. Once Your account has been created you can go directly on you account , where on the dashboard you will get the option of choosing you ad format and other settings to optimize ads display, etc. Another very interesting about Adbrite is that they have something which is known as "pricing option". You can run ads from your current ad networks within your AdBrite code, and they will always show the ads that earn you the most money. In other words, when they can earn you the most, they'll show their ads. When they can't, they'll rotate your other ads back in. You can't lose.
They do this by comparing the different ad networks eCPM(estimated earnings per 1,000 pageviews}. you just have to apste your code from your other ad network. Well we have nt chosen this option because we already have 3 ads from adsense. for the moment we are satisfied perhaps later we will choose this pricing option.

Their is also their referral button which you can use to refer other webmaster to their network. Well If a new publisher signs up for AdBrite through one of these links, they receive 50% of AdBrite’s profit’s from this new user for the first three months, and 10% for nine months after that.

Well we will be experimenting Adbrite and will be be keeping you updated with the results here.

Hello Akash, thanks for the comment you left on my blog. In fact I know about blog monetisation. I have many friends who do it. I have mainly learnt about it through the MBB www.forum.thembb.com

It is a community of Mauritian bloggers. Feel free to join it. That is from where I get all my traffic. Regards.
